How learning works at Turing College

Turing College offers two learning models: flexible asynchronous learning for self-payers and intensive synchronous training with government funding in Germany. Both use practical sprints and real-world projects; the government-funded programme offers more 1:1 mentor support and synchronous learning supervision.

Choose the model that matches how your studies are funded. The comparison below shows the differences in format, schedule, support, learning time and attendance.

Eligible jobseekers in Germany may receive full programme funding through a Bildungsgutschein.

Employees may qualify for employer-supported training funding through QCG and also receive synchronous learning support.

Our application process has two simple steps. First, tell us about your background and answer two short questions about your motivation and goals — our admissions team reviews every application personally and replies within 24 hours on working days. If the program is a good match, we’ll invite you to a 20–30 minute consultation where you can ask anything, go over your financing options, and decide together whether it’s the right next step.

The asynchronous model is flexible, on-demand learning built for busy professionals. You work through practical sprints on the online platform and schedule mentor support when you need it.

The curriculum is organised into practical sprints that combine learning, project work and feedback.

Pay for skills, not content

We cut through the noise of bootcamps by providing you with real-life skills by maximizing hours of practice and personal feedback.

The programmes use curated and custom-created material. Our content teams assemble the curriculum from carefully selected top resources on the web and update it regularly. Much of the content is not unique, but it works best.

Schedule 1:1 reviews when your project is ready and use the feedback to strengthen the work before moving on. Reviews provide the on-demand expert checkpoint in the flexible model.

The review process mirrors professional feedback: explain your decisions, respond to questions and improve the project using specific criteria.

    Most sprints require submitting a project. You complete practical work that simulates a real professional situation and shows you can apply theory on the job.

    Present your approach in a 1:1 review

    You present in a live 1:1 online session with an experienced mentor — the Senior Team Lead (STL).

    Receive feedback against clear criteria

    The STL gives detailed, personalised feedback using standardised review criteria.

    Apply the feedback and continue

    The STL decides whether you are ready for the next sprint. This mastery-based approach ensures you can translate concepts into real working competence.
