Cookie policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how TURING COLLEGE UAB (Lithuania) and TURING COLLEGE GmbH (Germany) (together, “Turing College”, “we”, “us” or “our”) use cookies and similar technologies on our websites. It should be read together with our Privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels and tags — work in comparable ways. We use both first-party cookies (set by our own domains) and, where you consent, third-party cookies set by services we use (for example Google and Meta).
The categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into the categories below. We place cookies for all of these categories by default; you can reject any non-necessary category — or withdraw one you previously allowed — at any time through your cookie settings. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off.
- Necessary — required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They include your cookie-consent choice, security and load-balancing, and the attribution parameters (for example UTM tags and ad click identifiers) we need to operate our services.
- Preferences — remember choices you make (such as region or language) to give you a more personalised experience.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, using aggregated and statistical information (for example Google Analytics).
- Marketing — used to measure and improve the relevance of our advertising, and to help us reach people who may be interested in our programmes (for example Meta Pixel and Google Ads).
Cookies you may encounter
The specific cookies set depend on the choices you make in the consent banner. Common examples include:
- Consent (necessary) — CookieHub stores a record of your consent choices so we can honour them on future visits.
- Attribution (necessary) — first-party cookies that record how you arrived at our site (such as utm_source, gclid, fbclid and a multi-touch attribution history) and a short-lived region signal (tc-geo-country).
- Analytics — Google Analytics cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) set only where you consent to analytics.
- Marketing — Meta cookies (for example _fbp and _fbc) set only where you consent to marketing.
For a live, itemised list of the cookies currently in use — including their providers, purposes and lifetimes — open your cookie settings.
Managing your consent
When you first visit our site we show a cookie notice powered by CookieHub, our consent management platform. Non-necessary cookies are enabled by default and are switched off for any category you reject. We use Google Consent Mode so that connected Google services respect your choice.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by opening your cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes take effect when we post the updated policy on this page.
