About Turing College
We’re an international team with big ideas, a practical mindset, and a healthy dose of impatience with the status quo. We built Turing College because we knew traditional education wasn’t working: not for learners, not for employers, and definitely not for the pace of tech today. We’re here to change that, one learner at a time.
Our story
Turing College began with three friends frustrated with how broken traditional tech education felt. Universities were slow. Bootcamps lacked depth. Self-learning was chaotic. So instead of choosing the least bad option, we created a new one.
What drove us was simple: relevance, accessibility, and real outcomes. We wanted an education that made sense in the job market. One that supported people, not just tested them. And one that gave learners the flexibility to learn from anywhere at anytime, without compromising on depth or quality.

Our first big win
Our first business, Turing Society, was founded in 2016 to make tech education for Lithuanian children more accessible and future-proof in a world bound to be driven by AI some day. We cold-emailed Harvard, pitched them on bringing CS50 to Lithuania, and got a letter of support from the Lithuanian education minister via Facebook Messenger. It worked. That partnership gave us our very first contract, and from there, we just kept going.

A new kind of learning experience
Turing College was founded in 2020 — it’s not a bootcamp, not a university, and definitely not just video lectures. It’s an online school built to truly teach, helping people master practical skills and achieve the careers — and lives — they dream about.

Growth with purpose
In 2025, we acquired Boom Training, a UK-based apprenticeship provider with deep expertise in workplace learning. Boom continues to operate as a separate company, but we’re united by a shared belief: education should be relevant, flexible, and effective for the modern world of work.
Together, we’re combining cutting-edge digital skills training with hands-on apprenticeships to create a model that works for learners, employers, and the future economy.

Our founders

Lukas Kaminskis, CEO
Lukas built his first coding bootcamp at 16 and was teaching software engineering at ISM University by 22. He’s led Turing College (and previously Turing Society) since 2017 and continues to collaborate with Harvard’s CS50 team and leading academics on EdTech initiatives. Lukas is a product-focused CEO with a drive to build things that truly help people grow.

Tomas Moška, CPO
Tomas founded his first company at 17 and joined Dashmote at 20 as a founding team member, quickly becoming its technical lead. A self-taught engineer with a mind for product and a sharp business sense, he later studied at the prestigious 42 coding school in Paris. Tomas is the force behind our learning platform and led the partnership that brought Harvard’s CS50 to Lithuania and helped kick-start everything that followed.

Benas Šidlauskas, CBDO
Benas started out at Invest Lithuania and quickly became a connector across the education, tech, and policy worlds. As co-founder of Turing Society, he built a wide network of supporters, from school principals and entrepreneurs to government leaders. Today, Benas drives growth at Turing College, always looking for new ways to make meaningful education more accessible and impactful.
