The Conduit

  • Currently upskilling
  • AI for Business (Level 3)
  • Applied AI & Automation (Level 4)
  • Data Analytics & AI (Level 4)

The Challenge

The Conduit, a members’ club built around a community of business leaders, faced a choice many growing organisations do: upskill existing staff in AI, or hire externally for the skills.

  • Needed genuine AI capability across different roles, HR included, not just a technical team.

  • Wanted to keep institutional knowledge in-house rather than lose it to external hires.

The Solution

The Conduit partnered with Turing College and training partner Maikai (David Ellis, Founder and CEO), with apprenticeships built into staff’s working week, across programmes including:

Personally for work I feel like it will help me automate a lot of the stuff that I do, and just to share knowledge within the company, to make better decisions while using AI.

Would They Recommend It?

Yes. Anushka and Ellis both describe upskilling existing staff as faster and more effective than hiring externally.
