Admission to Turing College is a three-stage process. In each stage, you will demonstrate your technical knowledge (hard skills) and personal traits (soft skills).
To begin, you will need to submit an application form. It will take about 15-25 minutes to complete, and is free.
Once you have registered via our online form, you
then receive a challenge. Turing College is suited to
people with any level of programming knowledge - from beginners up to experienced programmers. So, we have two types of challenges.
Designed for candidates who identify themselves as beginners. We call it a technical challenge, but it doesn't require knowledge ofvcoding.
For experienced coders. For this
challenge, you'll have to complete a coding task so we
can evaluate your level of IT knowledge and
experience.
The final step of the admissions process is an interview. We'll be evaluating your soft skills, together with your passion for Data Science. We look at these two areas because our studies are designed to develop your hard and soft skills and to get you a job at big tech companies on graduation. The interview will take up to 1 hour, and no extra preparation is needed beforehand. If the interview goes well, you'll have successfully completed the Turing College admissions process.
We are planning for another full-time course in early 2021.
“We have several layers of admission to filter the
most suitable candidates. We value character more
than just hard skills.”
